Tools of the future

It can be easy to get lost in the jungle of digital tools. If, like us, you are constantly bombarded with ads about AI image generators, project management tools, design apps and sound libraries, you know how hard it can be to listen. However, there are some valuable offers out there and, after some experimentation, we would like to share the best tools we’ve discovered.

CANVA

Canva is a free graphic design platform that allows users to create a wide range of designs using professionally designed templates with ease. It offers a drag-and-drop interface that makes customization and edition accessible to anyone. It offers an extensive suite of features with which your team can rework images. Our favorites within the app are the Background remover, Duotone and Magic Edit —which is about to be improved in the next update. Canva is ideal for non-designers who sometimes need to create mockups and not-so-important graphic materials for which a designer would be overkill. Use canva to color correct, crop, edit and even download your creations without background. Plus it offers more than 250,000 templates for social media posts, presentations, flyers, brochures, invitations, business cards, and more.

METRICOOL

Metricool is a data analytics program and planner that allows users to analyze, manage, and monitor the success of their digital content. It offers web and blog analytics, social media metrics, competitor analysis, and management of online advertising platforms. It also has a very intuitive planner with which you can program content for various accounts across several platforms like Meta, and linkedin. It also enables Ad campaign performance analysis for Facebook Ad and Google Ads.

ASANA

Asana is a project management tool that offers the ability to share progress, track milestones and goals to improve your team’s project execution. Your team can create executive summaries, write effective project objectives, keep track of team dependencies, make requests to their coworkers, and keep track of how everyone is doing. Asana is the eye in the sky!

COOLORS

Colors is a website that offers a color scheme generator to help designers find complementary tints, shades, and tones. It is one of several color-related websites that can be helpful for designers who need to create a color palette that works well together. We like it because of its simple interface, just press space to generate a palette, select the colors you like and press again to switch out the ones you didn’t. Other websites that offer similar tools include Adobe Color, Coolors.co, Canva Color Wheel, and Paletton.

PERPLEXITY

Perplexity AI is an AI-powered search engine that uses large language models to provide precise answers to questions. It is designed to provide more comprehensive and accurate answers than traditional search engines, and presents a reference list  alongside every result. You can use it as a chat bot, just like other AIs like Chat GPT or bard, but we like it for its simplicity and quality of the responses. Remember to prove afterwards! We recommend it for research, ask for whatever you need and rework it to point the results in the right direction.

RECUT

Recut is one of many AI-powered video editors. It allows the user to automate tedious and time-consuming tasks, specifically silence removal, which can take up lots of time.

There you have them! We recommend these tools to aid your creativity and speed up your process, so you can focus on perfecting what they deliver and keeping in mind the greater scope of your projects. Stay tuned for more blogs about web tools. Later on we’ll take an in-depth look at some of our favorites we didn’t get to mention.
